An historic and sophisticated winery set in the hills outside Angaston. William Salter arrived from England in 1844 and soon built Mamre Brook, the stone house that still stands today.
Since that time, just two families of winemakers have been in residence. At the gabled cellar door, you will be invited to sample the wide range of wines – and you may be tempted to enjoy your favourite over lunch at Salter’s Restaurant.
Saltram Wine Estate is one in over 60 participating wineries that make up the South Australian wine experience known as the Cellar Door Pass. |
